MATRIX

By Hanna Nygren and Helle Rossing inspired by the movie, the seriealbum and the franchise

In MATRIX we meet Uno, a doll, working on a factory making barbiedolls. His world is suddenly turned upside down when he realises that he is in fact a human being controlling his doll, and then again when he realizes that he is an actor performing a play in front of a live audience. The play is a play within a play within a play within a play. It examines the power of conviction into certain systems, how much we are willing to believe in our surroundings and also how easily these believes are torn apart.

It examines reality in the post-truth era where fact are not necessarily seen as such and the world as we know is is shifting. It examines why and how people become "trolls" not able to see other points of view than their own and not wanting to live in the same world but rather create their own bubbles where they can live happily in their own beliefs - fighting whomever they see as the evil agent of their world.
