MADNESS
- a voyage through the cosmos of the soul
INSPIRED BY FOUCAULT
WRITTEN BY HANNA NYGREN AND HELLE ROSSING

In "MADNESS," we meet 10-year-old Elvira, who struggles with aggression. Her friendships suffer, and she finds it difficult to focus in school. After a severe breakdown, she is suddenly visited by her own personal "fairy," Michel Foucault, who takes her on an (unconventional) journey throughout history.

Elvira gets to meet all those who have been called insane throughout history. Those labeled as fools, madmen, mentally ill, disturbed, and hysterical. Individuals whom society has tried to limit, treat, or confine in different ways. Who are they truly? And who is the craziest - those locked up or those standing guard outside?
