COMRADES premiered September 2019 at Uppsala Stadsteater and was a newly written version of Strindbergs classic.

In the show we meet 5 actors who reinterpret the play about genderroles, relationships and the art world. They try to criticize Strindbergs view on gender, but in the process they end up critizicing them self while seeing that their own systemic bias are so deep that they are influencing their every move. 

The play is a play within a play which changes perspective, plays with the role of the audience, and our own hypocrisy wanting change in the world, but being unable to apply the change in our own everyday life.
